Hi!

I’d like to start this post with an apology for not being half as active on this blog as I had originally intended to be. I’ve had such a great response from our tutorials, both in comments and directed traffic so I’d like to thank you if you’ve returned after seeing a post you liked.

Having said that, I’m finding it hard to come up with new tutorial ideas that will be worth posting, so I’d like to know what YOU would like a tutorial in. All suggestions will be considered, so please post your ideas in the comments.

In other news, Sneakybox is going great – we’ve been taking on more web development work than ever and we expect it to carry on increasing. Remember, if you can refer us a new web design project we’ll send you a cheque for £50!

Photography and Photoshop Tutorials

Hullo! I’m JemaA and I’ll be posting tutorials on photography and photoshop. I’ll be starting with quite basic stuff and as the weeks go by the difficulty level will increase. It will be up to you to keep up, as I’ll refer back to previous tutorials.

Topics I’ll cover will include:

Basic image correction
Getting images ready for web
Colourising
Creating Watermarks
Fantasy Photoshop

You can also send me questions and I’ll do my very best to answer them. If I can’t answer your question, I’ll point you in the right direction of where you can find the answer.

Hello!

I’m Aaron Rice, the founder and Managing Director of Sneakybox. For those that don’t know, Sneakybox is a web agency that offers Audio and Video production along with web design and development. Now that’s over with I promise not to divulge in too much shameless advertising here.

Over the better part of the last decade I’ve spent thousands of hours in front of various screens – writing, editing, designing and producing. Whether its writing a song or a PHP script, editing a PSD file or a video, I owe the majority of what I’ve learnt to the countless individuals that have given up some of their time to write tutorials and publish them for the benefit of others.

Of course I am still furthering my skills with everything I create, but I feel I’ve picked up enough tips and tricks over the years to be able to repay the favour by publishing some tutorials of my own.

My good friend, Sneakybox Photography master Jemma Austin will be helping me out with some Photography and Photoshop tutorials. I’ll cover the web design and development tutorials. Watch this space!
